ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science or related field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, psychology,chemistry, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics)
- Bachelor’s degree received no more than 2 years prior to applying
- Strong academic record with a 3.2 minimum GPA
- Desire to pursue a career in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
- Prior research experience preferred but not required
- US citizen or permanent resident(green card holder)
We anticipate opening the next recruitment period in March 2027

Are you pursuing a research career in Neuroscience and Dementia research?
We hope to recruit 3-4 scholars as the third cohort of HU-ERA-PREP starting in March 2027. Begin preparing to be a competitive applicant by enrolling in neuroscience and data science courses. Selected candidates must be available to participate in a mandatory three-week, in person training workshop, held at the Howard University College of Medicine in May 2027.
