ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science or related field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, psychology,chemistry, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics)
  • Bachelor’s degree received no more than 2 years prior to applying
  • Strong academic record with a 3.2 minimum GPA
  • Desire to pursue a career in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
  • Prior research experience preferred but not required
  • US citizen or permanent resident(green card holder)
We anticipate opening the next recruitment period in March 2027 
Did you Graduate in 2025 or May 2026, or will you graduate in December 2026 or May 2027?
Are you pursuing a research career in Neuroscience and Dementia research?
We hope to recruit 3-4 scholars as the third cohort of HU-ERA-PREP starting in March 2027. Begin preparing to be a competitive applicant by enrolling in neuroscience and data science courses. Selected candidates must be available to participate in a mandatory three-week, in person training workshop, held at the Howard University College of Medicine in May 2027.
