Selection Process and Notification
- Personal Statement: A short essay essay (up to 400 words) describing your research interests, career goals, and how participation in HU-ERA-PREP will help you achieve these goals
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume: Include education, research experience, publications (if any), presentations, awards, and other relevant academic or professional activities.
- Official Transcript(s): Submit official undergraduate transcripts from accredited institutions.
- Recommendation Letters:
- Provide names and contact information for 2 individuals who have agreed to provides recommendation letters in support of your application prior to submission.
- The two letters of recommendation should be from faculty or mentors who can assess your academic abilities, research potential, commitment to pursuing a research-focused career and personal character.
- Direct your recommenders/references to this HU-ERA-PREP website and the link below for submitting recommendation letters.
5. Application Form: Complete the HU-ERA-PREP online application form.

- Ensure all components, including recommendation letters, are received by the deadline.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Selection Process and Notification
- Applications will be evaluated based on academic achievements, research experience, alignment with program goals, and the strength of recommendation letters.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by May 1, 2025 and invited for virtual interviews.
